Everyone messes up at some time in life. Big or small, God forgives our mistakes when we ask him in prayer.
He knows we are human. He created us.
He is a God who forgives. And his mercy washes over us like cool water on a hot, summer day.
Here’s a wonderful prayer from “When God Calls the Heart” devotional for new beginnings:
God,
I come before you humbled because I make so many mistakes. Each day I hope for a better start, yet I mess up again. Forgive me for the times I make choices that are not pleasing to you.
Show me the areas of my life where there are offenses I don’t even realize.
You are a God of new beginnings. Thank you for the many times you have granted me a do-over. As many times as you’ve pardoned me and let me start, grant me the grace to offer that same spirit of forgiveness and mercy to someone who has wronged me.
Thank you for second chances, Lord. May I not take them for granted.

June 21, 2021 at 7:11 pmPrayer Of Confession: I am really sorry to God our Creator because I just don’t want to be haunted by the same mistakes that I didn’t mean to see myself mirroring from last thursday morning at 2-2:30am and then I am sorry for everything that I didn’t mean to have happen nomatter days and nights and weeks I am sorry to God our Creator for everything I didn’t mean to do 21 years ago and I am sorry to God our Creator so please pray for me so that I will not be a captive or a slave anymore so Please pray for me okay in Jesus name amen.

July 20, 2021 at 1:25 amHi, I’m having difficulty at work all of sudden. Even though I’m still working the processes given by management, now sometimes when submitting my work its all incorrect. My manager is notified each time my work is sent back for corrections and she says these will affect my performance review. Please pray that I stop making mistakes!! Its really bringing me down, don’t want to even show up for work. Thanks
